How 3D Print-on-Demand Works

RogueCmdr3D uses a 3D print-on-demand model.

That means most items are not mass-produced or sitting on a shelf ready to ship. Instead, products are printed after an order is placed or after a custom quote is approved.

Think of it like a custom print shop or a FedEx/Kinko’s-style service for 3D printing: you bring the idea, file, reference, or product request, and RogueCmdr3D reviews the project, confirms the details, and produces the physical 3D printed item.

How it works:

1. Choose a catalog item or submit a custom quote request.
2. Select available options such as material, color, finish level, or version.
3. For custom work, send your STL files, reference images, measurements, project notes, and shipping ZIP code.
4. RogueCmdr3D reviews the request for printability, material needs, size, print time, supports, complexity, and finishing requirements.
5. For quote-based work, a custom quote is provided before production begins.
6. Once payment and final details are confirmed, the item is printed, packed, and shipped.

3D print-on-demand allows RogueCmdr3D to offer a wider range of products, sizes, materials, and custom options without keeping every possible item in stock.

Production time varies by item size, material, printer availability, print time, post-processing needs, and order queue.

All orders are for physical 3D printed products only. Digital STL files are not included or sold through this service.
